Naperville. The 33rd Illinois Volunteer Regiment Band performed at Naperville, Illinois on May 20. There were concerts at the old 1890's gazebo both Saturday and Sunday. The period ball was held in the 1840's Meeting House at the Naper Settlement. The band also played for the church service in the 1870's Century Memorial Chapel.

Springfield. The band played a concert on the grounds at Lincoln's Home in Springfield on May 28. Several members of the Central Illinois Civil War Dance Society attended in costume.

The Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum was the concert site for the 33rd Band on June 17 and July 15. The June concert took place just outside the museum at the Sixth Street courtyard entrance. The July program was presented in the atrium of the museum near the “White House”.

Lincoln's Tomb in Springfield conducts a flag-retiring ceremony on Tuesday evenings during the summer. The 33rd Band performed for this event on June 20.

Greenville, Illinois was the destination of the 33rd Band on July 2.  Day 2 of the Main Bicentennial Celebration of Bond County featured courthouse tours, museum exhibit, and concerts by the 33rd Illinois Volunteer Regiment Band and the Greenville Municipal Band.

On July 15, the band returned to the home of its first performance, the David Davis Mansion Historical Site in Bloomington, Illinois. The band played on the west side of the mansion and contributed items for the ice cream social.

The Illinois State Fair hosted the 33rd Illinois Volunteer Regiment Band on August 13 on the lawn in front of the Illinois Building. The band played two concerts under the tent.

The town square at Metamora, Illinois was the scene of a concert and street dance by the 33rd Band on September 16. Several dancers and audience members enjoyed the park and tours of the 1845 Courthouse building on the square. Reenactors, dancers, and band members posed for a large group photo in front of the historical Greek revival building that formerly served as the Woodford County seat.

Orland Park, Illinois. The 33rd Band performed a concert at All Saints Lutheran Church in Orland Park, Illinois on October 1. Church members provided the band with a cookout luncheon which was quite a treat.

Westminster Village in Bloomington. A “thank-you” concert was presented to the residents and friends of Westminster Village Retirement Home in Bloomington, Illinois on October 21. The facility has provided a central location for rehearsals several times.
